Characteristics to Consider When Choosing a 4-Year College

 

Overall Entrance Difficulty

Most colleges/universities have a recommended minimum grad point average for transfer students as an institution or for specific academic majors.  Student can enhance their admissions application by having an interview with an admissions counselor.  Participation in extracurricular activities is another way to add to your application in a positive and productive way.

Examples: Co-curricular clubs, student government, athletic involvement, community service, internships, college committees
