Nursing Program
The nursing program is approved by the New York State Board of Nursing and registered by the New York State Education Department, Division of Professional Education of the University of the State of New York. Upon successful completion of the requirements of the FMCC nursing program, candidates are awarded the degree of Associate in Applied Science degree, with a major in Nursing. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination, NCLEX/RN, for licensure as a registered professional nurse. Graduates may continue their studies in a baccalaureate nursing program through articulation agreements with four-year institutions.
