Audio-Visual Services
The Library/AV department provides faculty and other users with portable equipment including TV/VCR/DVD and computer units.  

Circulation Desk
Circulation Desk services include book borrowing, returns, course reserves, InterLibrary Loan, and research assistance (ask at corner Reference Desk).  All borrowers must have a valid FMCC Photo ID or Community users card.  

Distance Learning Students
FMCC Distance Learning students enjoy the same library rights and privileges as on-campus students.  They have access to books, periodical articles, research assistance, and reference services via the Library's Home page, e-mail or telephone (518.762.4651 x5610).  See our Distance Learning Policy for more information.

InterLibrary Loan
Request books and articles not available in our Library with the click of a button! Click here to get started.  (This service is available to FMCC students and staff only).  

Internet Access
Internet access is provided to the public via a number of computers.  For laptop users, Wireless Internet Access is available throughout the Library.  Loaner Laptops are available on a 3-hour, in-library use loan (current FMCC student ID required).

Library Research Handouts/Research Assistance 
A variety of handouts and research guides are available, Click Here to see.  Also, there is a librarian on call during all open hours -- just stop by the Reference Desk and ask!

Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)
This online system lets you search our book catalog. We have over 50,000 books in our circulating collection. Click on this link to visit our Book Catalog.  

Online Resources
The Evans Library provides all users with access to online research databases.  FMCC students and staff can access these resources from off-campus by using their campus photo id/network log-in.  Click here to see all databases.  The databases are funded by SUNYConnect (a SUNY resources-sharing initiative), the New York State Library NOVEL initiative, and FMCC.  

Periodicals/Microfilm
We have over 140 magazines available in print as well as local and regional materials in both print and microfilm.  

Photocopying
We have two photocopiers which take coins or a copy card.  Copies are 10 cents per page with the card, 15 cents without.  

Reference
Have a question?  Just ask a human search engine! There is a librarian on call during all open hours -- just stop by the Reference Desk and say hi!  Online assistance is also available at libinfo@fmcc.edu; however, please be aware that this service is not staffed 24/7!

Reserves
Course materials are available to registered students. Ask at the Circulation Desk and be prepared to give faculty/course information.
